Role Description
We are looking for a Regional Vice President of Sales to lead our client's enterprise sales team and drive aggressive growth across the region. This is a remote position ideally based in the middle to East Coast of the United States, with 50% travel to customers and conferences.
- Lead and manage a team of 10+ Enterprise Account Executives across the Americas region
- Drive a $50M+ net new book of business through effective team leadership and sales execution
- Recruit, hire, onboard, and rapidly ramp new sales team members to scale the organization
- Engage directly with strategic enterprise accounts alongside your team to help move critical deals across the finish line
- Partner with C-suite decision makers (CMOs, CTOs, CEOs) on strategic business outcomes when needed
- Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for the Americas region
- Implement sales processes, methodologies, and best practices to ensure operational excellence and sales rigor
- Provide accurate forecasting and pipeline management across the region
- Coach, mentor, and develop team members to exceed quota and advance their careers
- Collaborate closely with Marketing, Product, Partnerships, and Customer Success teams to drive growth
- Establish and track key performance metrics and hold the team accountable to results
- Travel approximately 50% of the time to meet with customers, support team members in the field, and attend conferences
Qualifications
- 10-15 years of enterprise sales experience (15+ preferred, but open to 10+ for exceptional candidates) with a proven track record of exceeding quotas
- 10+ years of sales leadership experience managing and scaling enterprise sales teams
- Proven ability to build, ramp, and lead teams of 10+ direct reports
- Demonstrated success managing a $50M+ book of business with a "hunter" sales mentality
- Strong operational excellence and sales rigor with experience implementing sales processes and methodologies
- Proven ability to engage at the C-suite level (CMO, CTO, CEO, etc.) and influence strategic deals
- Ability to step into complex sales cycles and help move deals across the finish line
- Deep understanding of commerce metrics including conversion rates, omnichannel strategy, customer acquisition costs, and retail operations
- Experience selling SaaS or AI technology solutions to large enterprise customers
- Track record of recruiting, developing, and retaining top sales talent
- Entrepreneurial "build mindset" with ability to lead teams selling innovative, transformative solutions
- Strong business acumen and ability to translate technical capabilities into business outcomes
- Experience with CRM systems (preferably HubSpot or Salesforce) and sales analytics tools
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Comfortable with 50% travel to customer sites, team locations, and industry conferences
- Bachelor's degree preferred; MBA a plus
