Job Description

Senior Merchandising Specialist (Remote - local preferred)
RiverGuide is seeking a Sr. Merchandising Specialist to join our Marketing Services – Merchandising Team. In this role, you will support the development, execution, and optimization of product content across Amazon marketplaces while helping brands improve their product detail pages, A+ Content, and Brand Store experiences.
This position is ideal for someone with strong Amazon platform experience and creative capabilities who enjoys combining strategy, content, and visual merchandising to improve product performance.
As a member of the Merchandising Team, you will work closely with internal teams across Strategy, Media, and Creative to execute merchandising initiatives and support the growth of our clients’ Amazon businesses.

Tasks/Responsibilities

Amazon Merchandising & Catalog Management
  • Optimize Amazon product listings including titles, bullet points, descriptions, and backend keywords
  • Manage catalog updates including variation structures and product detail page improvements
  • Conduct product detail page audits and recommend optimization opportunities
  • Assist with catalog troubleshooting within Seller Central or Vendor Central

A+ Content & Brand Store Development
  • Create and update Amazon A+ Content modules
  • Assist with Amazon Brand Store creation, updates, and page optimization
  • Support visual storytelling across product pages and storefront experiences

Creative Asset Development
  • Design and edit visual merchandising assets using Adobe Creative Suite
  • Prepare image assets for Amazon product listings and A+ Content modules
  • Support the development of branded content that improves engagement and conversion

Testing & Optimization
  • Support the execution of A/B tests across listings and merchandising elements
  • Monitor performance and identify opportunities to improve conversion and engagement
  • Share insights with internal teams to support data-driven optimization efforts

Team Collaboration & Development
  • Assist with onboarding and training of potential future Merchandising Team members
  • Support future hiring efforts including resume reviews and participation in interviews
  • Stay up to date on Amazon platform changes, marketplace trends, and merchandising best practices
  • Identify opportunities to improve internal processes and client performance
 

Required Qualifications
  • Experience working within Amazon Seller Central and/or Vendor Central
  • Strong understanding of Amazon listing optimization and merchandising best practices
  • Experience creating or supporting A+ Content and Amazon Brand Store assets
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, and/or InDesign)
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong written communication and organizational skills
 

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working within an eCommerce agency environment
  • Experience managing or optimizing large Amazon product catalogs
  • Familiarity with Amazon experimentation or A/B testing tools
  • Experience supporting Amazon SEO and product content strategy
