Role Description

We are seeking a Senior IT Architect with deep expertise in banking and payments systems to design, guide, and implement enterprise-level technology solutions. The ideal candidate has experience in top-tier banks or payment companies, with a strong track record of architecting complex payment and banking platforms.

• Define and implement enterprise architecture for banking and payment systems
• Design solutions across payment processing, clearing, settlement, and reconciliation platforms
• Collaborate with product, program, and business teams to ensure technology aligns with business goals
• Drive digital transformation and modernization initiatives
• Ensure solutions meet regulatory, risk, and compliance standards
• Provide technical leadership, review designs, and guide development teams

Qualifications

• 8–15 years of experience in IT architecture or solution architecture in banking/payments
• Strong knowledge of core banking, payment systems, and fintech platforms
• Expertise in integration patterns, API-led architecture, cloud solutions, and real-time payment systems
• Experience leading cross-functional technical teams
• Excellent strategic thinking, communication, and problem-solving skills

Requirements

• Familiarity with SWIFT, ISO 20022, RTGS, ACH, card networks, or digital wallets
• Experience in cloud-native architecture, microservices, and modern payment technologies
• Prior experience in consulting or large-scale transformation programs
