Role Description

The IT Management Specialist is responsible for supporting Enterprise Infrastructure Installation Support. Key responsibilities include:

• Logistics and Inventory Management:
  • Ensuring the seamless flow of products and materials within the organization.
  • Maintaining effective inventory levels and executing prompt deliveries to meet customer needs.
  • Overseeing inventory, coordinating transportation and distribution, and maintaining operational excellence.
• Warehouse Management:
  • Maximizing the efficiency of storage space.
  • Ensuring all materials are handled and stored correctly.
  • Maintaining a safe and well-organized warehouse environment.
• Transportation Coordination:
  • Planning and overseeing both inbound and outbound shipments.
  • Selecting the most suitable transportation methods for the organization.
• Distribution Management:
  • Ensuring timely delivery of products to their intended destinations.
  • Optimizing delivery routes for greater efficiency.
  • Minimizing transportation costs without compromising service quality.
• Monitoring stock levels regularly and submitting accurate, auditable monthly inventory reports.
• Conducting and managing logistic activities overseeing material inventory, coordinating transportation and distribution.
• Performing IT inventory and stock level sustainment through management, receipt, and delivery according to J64 Infrastructure Engineering requirements.
• Ensuring the accountability of material inventory within the organization through proper warehouse management techniques.
• Coordinating the transportation and delivery of materials through oversight and collaboration of inbound and outbound shipments.
• Performing IT distribution management to ensure timely delivery of products to their intended destinations.
• Conducting all Receiving/Shipping of DLA material in a timely and accurate manner.
• Drafting correspondence and preparing site inventory reports, as required.
• Identifying, addressing, and reconciling material inventory variances immediately.
• Preparing reports for management stating material usage trends, patterns, and predictions using relevant data.
• Ensuring work area is kept clean and organized; maintaining publicly acceptable personal hygiene levels.
• Onsite travel using personal vehicle may be required.

Qualifications

• Acquire and maintain a secret clearance with IT-II sensitivity.
• Ability to gain Forklift certification if local work area requires.
• Reliable transportation and ability to use POV to travel on-site.
• Minimum one year of relevant warehouse experience.
• Minimum one year of experience entering asset data and extracting reports from automated inventory tracking systems.
• Minimum one year of experience in performing physical inventories.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Adobe.
• US Citizen.
