Local ERP Project Manager

Location: Fully Remote (Poland or any other European country)

Employment Type: Freelance / B2B Contract

Monthly remuneration: 4500 EUR

About the Client

Our client is a leading global company in the agricultural sector, providing innovative crop protection solutions that help farmers combat weeds, insects, and diseases.

With advanced R&D, manufacturing, and formulation capabilities — and the world’s most extensive portfolio of active ingredients — the company delivers tailored solutions to meet local farming needs across the globe.

Role Overview

We are looking for a Local ERP Project Manager to become a crucial part of the Center of Excellence (COE) team. In this role, you will lead local ERP systems at our client that are not yet integrated into the global template. You will be responsible for leading internal organizational projects end-to-end, requiring a strong mix of technical and business understanding regarding project needs, scope, and design.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Delivery & Management: Oversee multiple activities simultaneously, including tasks, change requests, and critical incidents. Lead internal projects focused on deploying new system functionalities and optimizing processes.

  • Global Process Alignment: Safeguard global methodologies and minimize deviations within regional and local implementations.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with business stakeholders, development teams, and technical experts to coordinate and implement system solutions.

  • Design & Process Improvement: Review and approve functional designs for feasibility and proper handoff to technical teams. Identify workarounds for system limitations and drive business process changes.

  • Timeline & Budget Management: Manage project schedules, budgets, and specific components of the overall ERP roadmap.

  • Governance, Reporting & Documentation: Monitor delivery progress, maintain clear documentation, and communicate project status transparently throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Stakeholder & Vendor Coordination: Align efforts across internal departments (IT, Operations, Finance, HR) and manage relationships with external vendors and ERP integrators (SBO, ECC).

  • Training & Operational Support: Coordinate testing cycles, UAT, and go-live events. Assist local teams in adopting global solutions while addressing day-to-day operational issues and escalations.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

  • Experience: At least 3 years of hands-on experience in either SBO or SAP ECC is mandatory. Proven experience managing multiple projects concurrently.

  • Language: Excellent mastery of English.

  • Technical Acumen: Ability to maintain a holistic view of end-to-end architecture and translate business needs into system requirements.

  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving abilities, and a comprehensive understanding of business operations and process optimization.

  • Soft Skills: Exceptional communication, influencing, and interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to lead and inspire teams.

  • Tools: Proficiency with task-management tools and the ability to create and present project progress reports.

  • Nice to Have: Experience working with technical teams and the ability to document functional designs, test cases, and results are considered advantages.

✔ Long-term collaboration with a global enterprise

✔ 100% remote work from Poland or any other European country
