Role Description
The Finance Intern will use education and experience to support key company initiatives while gaining valuable experience and knowledge during the internship period.
- Perform data analysis, generate reports, and develop recommendations for process improvements.
- Deliver exceptional outcomes in support of key company initiatives.
- Provide support to the finance and operations team with tasks such as creating reports, analysing data, and developing process improvements.
- Assist in data requirements documentation.
- Participate in activities to enhance connection to the company as a whole and encourage personal growth.
- Create and publish periodic reports, as well as necessary ad hoc reports.
- Follow HIPAA guidelines and Privacy standards.
- Ability to work independently and manage responsibilities.
- Actively promote GUEST customer service standards; develop effective relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Participate in team concepts and promote a team effort; perform duties in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Regular and reliable attendance is required for the job.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or enrollment in accredited degree program; degree in finance, decision sciences, healthcare, business, or another analytical discipline strongly preferred.
- Expressed interest in healthcare management and analytics.
- Zero (0) to Two (2) years of experience with large data sets, data dissemination, and complex problem-solving; other relevant experience will be considered; previous dialysis experience a strong plus.
- Strong communication and being a self-starter are preferred.
- Proficient with all Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Outlook, and Word.
- Analytical skills to be used and developed.
- Tableau and Alteryx skills a plus.
