Job Description

• Drive strategic account management, sales execution, and revenue growth for Vizient’s non-acute business located within the Eastern region of the United States. • Lead an account management team, partner directly with provider executive leadership, and ensure the delivery of measurable value through Vizient’s spend management offering. • Serve as a trusted executive advisor to provider leadership (CEO, COO, CFO, CSO), fostering strong, long-term relationships that support sustained growth and performance. • Identify evolving business needs related to improving operational and financial performance and translate those needs into actionable strategies and solutions. • Own and lead operational transformation efforts within the non-acute business to improve performance, scalability, and long-term sustainability. • Maintain ownership of regional sales performance, including pipeline development, forecasting, renewals, and new growth opportunities. • Enable and equip account management teams to effectively position Vizient solutions, articulate value, and advance complex sales opportunities. • Monitor financial performance, including revenue, margins, and profitability of custom engagements. • Lead, coach, and develop high-performing account management teams focused on accountability, execution, and customer impact.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree desired; advanced degree preferred.
  • 10 or more years of progressive experience required in healthcare account management, sales leadership, consulting, or related fields.
  • Proven success managing executive-level relationships and driving revenue growth in complex, matrixed organizations.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets, revenue targets, and profitability.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, inspire, and develop high-performing teams.
  • Candidates must reside in the Northeast or Southeast regions of the United States.
  • Ability to travel regularly and expeditiously throughout the year to meet clients’ needs and timetables. Estimated travel is up to 70%.
