Job Description
• Achieve company growth targets for new and renewal business
• Establish, expand, and deepen relationships with independent insurance agencies and existing clients
• Prospect and initiate outbound communication with new and existing agency partners via phone and email
• Utilize a consultative sales approach and strategic marketing plan to evaluate agency and client needs
• Manage the full sales lifecycle, including pipeline development and tracking of large accounts
• Collaborate closely with underwriting and internal teams to ensure submissions are written effectively
• Provide superior customer service communication
• Perform accurate and timely documentation of all sales activities
• Meet performance expectations as outlined by KPIs and contribute to ongoing sales strategy execution
Job Requirements
- Strong communication skills, including presentation, phone calls, emails, etc.
- Must be comfortable with negotiating and leveraging a consultative sales approach
- Initiative-taking with a results-driven mindset.
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Passionate, energetic, self-motivated who thrives and can achieve sales goals
- Proven experience in business development or sales within the insurance or related industry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems (HubSpot) and policy management platforms (Nexsure)
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet performance targets.
- At least 1 year of business experience, either in sales or professional services
- At least 2 years of sales experience focused on generating outbound calls
