Job Description
• Coordinate Editorial Process and maintain GEC’s internal deliverable production queue and coordinate all stages of the production process.
• Edit and fact-check content for accuracy, clarity, and consistency.
• Anticipate graphic needs across projects and manage the visual asset pipeline.
• Create polished visual designs using tools like Canva.
• Manage production of monthly newsletter and social media presence.
• Draft public-facing content for regular and periodic workflows.
• Maintain organizational documents, templates, and policies ensuring compliance.
Job Requirements
- 4+ years of professional experience, demonstrating progressive responsibility in related functions.
- 2+ years of experience in a relevant communications role.
- Drafting public-facing content in multiple formats, including press releases, social media posts, and website content.
- Managing communications or editorial processes following formal protocols, with strong attention to detail.
- Very strong command of English language conventions, grammar, and editorial techniques.
- Commitment to the mission of Good Energy Collective and interest in clean energy, climate, or social impact work.
- High proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Intermediate mastery of back-end website management.
- Intermediate mastery of web-based project management tools (e.g., Asana, Monday).
- Intermediate visual design proficiency, sufficient to create polished social media graphics.
- Fluency with Canva or similar; proficiency in Adobe InDesign or Photoshop preferred.
- Experience with spreadsheets and project tracking tools (e.g., Excel, Airtable).
