Job Description
• Drive growth within the U.S. Federal Business, focusing on Open RAN 5G/6G cellular and wireless communications.
• Shape customer requirements, build trusted relationships, and lead cross-functional teams to secure new business opportunities.
• Engage with the Department of War and federal program offices to understand operational needs and position solutions early.
• Manage all phases of the business development and capture lifecycle—from opportunity identification and tracking through proposal development and contract award.
• Identify and pursue strategic partnerships, alliances, and joint ventures to strengthen competitive positioning.
Job Requirements
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance (which requires U.S. citizenship under federal law), or currently hold an active SECRET or TOP SECRET clearance.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering or a related technical field, or equivalent relevant technical and professional experience.
- Minimum of 4-6 years of demonstrated expertise with acquisition processes including BAAs, OTAs, IDIQ and other contract vehicles.
- Strong technical and/or operational knowledge of wireless and networking technologies such as cellular Open RAN 5G/6G, tactical communications, mesh networking, advanced sensing, and RF solutions.
- Lead complex capture efforts and manage multiple high-visibility initiatives with minimal oversight.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to influence customers and internal stakeholders and build consensus.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access) and Microsoft Project; familiarity with CRM/sales tracking tools preferred.
