• Serve as system administrator for legal billing software (e.g., Tymetrix 360), reconciling and recording vendor invoices and maintaining billing portfolio reports for assigned legal teams • Support onboarding of outside counsel and legal vendors; review time entries for proper matter coding, rate adherence, and compliance with Outside Counsel Guidelines • Act as subject-matter expert for fee arrangements (hourly, flat, fixed, capped, and alternate fee structures) • Research and resolve billing inquiries in collaboration with internal stakeholders and outside counsel • Assist with creation and submission of billing reports across systems; deliver monthly and quarterly reporting for leadership • Partner with Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable to ensure timely payments, smooth billing processes, and coordinate cost corrections as needed • Proactively identify billing/accounting issues and recommend solutions to Legal Operations leadership • Conduct ad-hoc spot audits of legal matter bills and ensure billing rate compliance • Identify and participate in process-improvement initiatives to build efficiencies into reporting and eBilling workflows • Assist with ad-hoc projects as needed
