Job Description
• Develop and execute strategic sales plans within the assigned territory to achieve revenue and growth targets
• Build and strengthen relationships with surgeons, perfusionists, hospital administrators, and purchasing agents to expand adoption of cardioplegia delivery systems
• Maintain regular customer contact to identify needs, position product benefits, and drive long-term loyalty
• Prospect for new business opportunities by identifying and converting competitive accounts
• Deliver persuasive sales presentations and product demonstrations that highlight both clinical and economic value
• Collect and analyze market intelligence on hospital purchasing processes, surgeon and perfusionist preferences, and competitor activity to inform sales strategy
• Partner closely with the Senior Sales Manager and broader sales team to share insights and continuously improve the sales process
• Maintain strong knowledge of product features, benefits, and value propositions to effectively differentiate in the marketplace
• Develop and manage a robust pipeline in CRM, ensuring accurate forecasting and timely follow-up on opportunities
• Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, operations, and customer support to ensure seamless execution of the sales process
• Represent Quest Medical at trade shows, regional meetings, and customer events to increase product visibility and generate leads
• Prepare and deliver professional communications, proposals, and presentations for live or virtual platforms
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree in business, life sciences, or related field preferred
- Minimum of five years of successful medical device, capital equipment, or healthcare sales experience with a proven track record of exceeding quota
- Strong knowledge of hospital purchasing processes and capital equipment sales cycles, including experience working with physicians, perfusionists, administrators, and purchasing agents
- Demonstrated success in new business development, account penetration, and competitive conversions
- Exceptional relationship-building and communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
- Skilled in territory planning, pipeline management, and accurate forecasting within a CRM system
- High level of business acumen with the ability to clearly articulate both clinical and economic value propositions
- Strong presentation skills, with experience delivering persuasive proposals in live and virtual settings
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and adaptable to working in complex hospital environments
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively (up to 75%) to meet customer and territory demands
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365(Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook)
