• Reporting to the Accounting Manager, responsible for monthly accounting including bank reconciliation, general ledger and preparation of balance sheet and income statement for a CPA firm • Exercise discretion and authority in preparation of accounting records, including financial statements and other reports • Prepare month-end journal entries and assist in financial statement compilation, reconcile bank statements and general ledgers • Work independently on account reconciliations monthly for balance sheet accounts • Ensure compliance with all laws and regulations in the preparation of year end Forms 1096 & 1099 • Responsible for multiple clients; ensure timely financial reports for clients and planning teams
