Job Description

• Working at Abbott and doing work that matters. • Ensuring that the assigned region meets or exceeds sales and profitability objectives. • Formulating sales strategies for markets within the assigned geography and product lines to attain revenue goals set by the company. • Managing and coaching the activities of sales representatives, clinical representatives, and other field personnel. • Negotiating contracts with external customers and keeping the company informed of market dynamics and competitive activity. • Recruits, coaches and develops organizational talent. • Fostering a diverse workplace that enables all participants to contribute to their full potential in pursuit of organizational objectives. • Developing and executing organizational and operational policies that affect one or more groups by utilizing technical/professional knowledge and skills.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 5+ years of related work experience or related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • Ability to provide direction and monitor progress of exempt specialists and/or supervisory staff toward departmental goals; monitor costs of projects and of human and material resources within a department or unit; monitor company-wide indicators such as market share and profitability; monitor external environment in area of technical or professional responsibility.
  • Able to perform this job in a quality system environment.
  • Verification that you will satisfy all vendor credentialing requirements, which may include vaccination for COVID-19.
  • Prior experience, knowledge of medical devices preferred, especially with interventional cardiology. Strong consideration will be given to candidates with Structural Heart experience.
