Job Description

• Define and own the product roadmap for SDSC’s surgical video analytics and data science tools across multiple domains (computer vision models, SVP features, admin console). • Translate user needs and research objectives into technical requirements and prioritized product milestones. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and high-quality product delivery. • Manage product lifecycle from ideation and prototype to validation and deployment. • Gather and synthesize feedback from our users to continuously refine products. • Establish metrics to measure product success and adoption across partner institutions.

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, biomedical sciences, or a related field; advanced degree or product management certification a plus.
+5 years of product management experience, ideally in health tech, medical AI, or data-driven platforms.
Proven track record leading products from concept to launch, preferably within regulated or clinical environments.
Strong technical fluency — able to collaborate effectively with engineers and data scientists, and translate complex clinical or research needs into clear product requirements.
Strategic and analytical thinker with experience defining roadmaps, KPIs, and product success metrics.
Excellent communicator skilled at managing cross-functional stakeholders across technical, research, and clinical domains.
Comfortable operating in a fast-moving, distributed, and mission-driven environment.
