Job Description

About Pear Suite Pear Suite is a mission-driven healthcare technology company transforming how community-based care is delivered. Our platform empowers community health workers, doulas, and other frontline providers with tools to coordinate care, track outcomes, and improve health equity. We partner with organizations serving Medicaid and Medicare populations, delivering social and preventive care at scale. Why Pear Suite? We’re a mission-driven team committed to health equity and innovation in community-based care. You’ll thrive here if you’re eager to take initiative, value autonomy, and enjoy building structure where none exists. Join us to build scalable, human-centered technology that empowers frontline workers and improves lives across the U.S. About the role As part of our mission, we partner with community-based organizations and payors to build sustainable funding pathways and infrastructure for frontline workers. This practicum will give students the opportunity to work on strategic projects, program evaluation, partnerships, and growth initiatives in a dynamic startup environment. What you'll do As a practicum student, you will: Support strategic projects related to CHW and doula workforce expansion, SDoH innovation, and healthcare partnerships. Conduct program evaluations, including data collection, analysis, and reporting on impact metrics. Assist in identifying and engaging community-based organizations, maternal health groups, and public health associations. Contribute to business development and growth initiatives, including landscape scans, partner research, and proposal support. Collaborate cross-functionally with the Pear Suite team (product, growth, and community engagement) on pilot projects and thought-leadership deliverables. Develop practical recommendations for improving SDoH integration into healthcare systems. Describe the specific responsibilities and job functions of the role Qualifications
