Job Requirements
- 12+ years of experience in data engineering with a proven track record of building and scaling production-grade systems.
- Deep expertise with AWS Redshift or equivalent, including performance tuning, table design, and workload management.
- Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT frameworks, such as DBT, AWS DMS, or similar tools.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language (Python, Scala, or Java).
- Experience building and maintaining AWS-based data platforms, including S3, Lambda, Glue, or EMR.
- Familiarity with orchestration tools such as Airflow, Dagster, or Prefect for large-scale data processing.
- Knowledge of data modeling, distributed systems, and modern warehouse/lake design patterns.
- Strong collaboration, communication, and documentation skills for fast-paced, cross-functional environments.
- Preferred: experience in fintech or regulated environments, streaming technologies (Kafka, Kinesis), lakehouse architectures (Snowflake, Databricks), ML pipelines, infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation), and large-scale platform migrations.
