Role Description

This position is for a Senior Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner Director - REMOTE. In this pivotal role, you will contribute to shaping the future of pediatric mental health care by leading the development and management of our PMHNP Residency Program.

  • Develop and implement the complete residency program structure.
  • Build and codify the residency curriculum focusing on pediatric mental health.
  • Lead accreditation efforts in line with CAPP requirements.
  • Mentor and train residents during their transition to professional practice.
  • Design and implement evaluation systems to track resident progress.
  • Manage performance issues and support residents in meeting clinical standards.
  • Collaborate closely with clinical and administrative teams for program success.

Qualifications

  • Master's Degree from an accredited nursing program.
  • PMHNP-BC certification.
  • Active PMHNP/APRN license in Virginia, Pennsylvania, NJ, or MD.
  • At least 3 years of experience as a CRNP and 1 year in a leadership role.
  • Strong clinical skills and knowledge of evidence-based practices in pediatric psychiatry.
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor and motivate a healthcare team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and growing environment.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and residency program accreditation standards.
