Role Description
The Associate Director, People Partnerships is responsible for scaling centralized People policies, programs, and practices into business units as they grow. This role partners closely with Business Unit (BU) leaders to support performance, leadership effectiveness, and organizational health while preparing the foundation for a future Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) model. Strong preference for candidates with experience in med spas, wellness clinics, pharmacies, or regulated healthcare environments.
- Serve as strategic People partner to BU leaders
- Apply and scale People policies and programs to BU-specific needs
- Prepare business units for future HRBP support as they grow
- Coach managers on performance management and employee development
- Identify leadership, capacity, and people risks early
- Support org design and change management efforts
- Ensure People practices align with BU regulatory requirements
- Partner with Talent and Ops on BU hiring and onboarding needs
- Translate BU insights into improvements to centralized People strategy
- Support escalation and resolution of complex People issues
- Maintain consistency of culture and People standards across BUs
- Additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 7–10 years of progressive People, HRBP, or People Partner experience
- Demonstrated experience scaling People policies and programs across multiple teams or business units
- Strong background supporting managers and senior leaders through performance management, org design, and change
- Experience applying centralized People practices within regulated or operational environments
- Proven ability to balance consistency with flexibility across different business needs
- Strong judgment, discretion, and ability to handle complex, sensitive people matters
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Preferred background as med spa / pharmacy / wellness background
