Job Description
• Develop a business plan and sales targets to drive market and channel growth within your assigned territory
• Maintain ownership of existing customer relationships while dedicating the majority of your time to developing new relationships with key distributors, dealers, and builders
• Act as the primary point of escalation for customer account issues raised by Segment Managers or Specialists
• Collaborate with Regional Managers (RMs) to establish market pricing that aligns with current market dynamics
• Partner with RMs, R&D, Engineering, and Quality teams to share competitive insights, product feedback, and field performance observations
• Educate and train customers on the full suite of Therma-Tru, Fypon, and Larson products, including value-added services
• Present and implement marketing, merchandising, and promotional programs with customers
• Proactively assist in resolving service issues in partnership with the Customer Service team
• Complete all administrative tasks—including activity reports, opportunity tracking, and expense submissions—timely and accurately
• Maintain an up-to-date database of customers and prospects
• Attend industry trade shows and events as necessary
• Perform additional responsibilities as assigned in support of business objectives
Job Requirements
- 3–5+ years of field sales experience in the building materials industry
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships with distributors, dealers, and builders
- Highly autonomous with strong time-management and territory-planning skills
- Strong verbal communication, presentation, and product demonstration abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel overnight up to 50%
