Role Description

We are looking for an experienced Unclaimed Property Tax Lead for our client on a project basis. This contract role is fully remote.

• Track client requests and submissions and assist with record review for potential unclaimed property
• Analyze data to identify potential unclaimed property risks
• Research transactions to determine potential unclaimed property exposure
• Aid in drafting reports for client and state submission
• Work with team to meet client submission timelines

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in accounting, finance, or other related fields
• CPA license or Advanced degree such as Masters of Tax, JD and/or LLM preferred
• 3+ years experience in state and local tax; 1+ years with Unclaimed Property Tax
• Qualified applicants must reside in the continental U.S.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States now and in the future. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
