What you will do on our Sales Team:
- Deliver sales growth and profitability targets for total Walmart Inc accounts. Total P&L ownership.
- Build omni-channel customer relationships at the buyer level and facilitate connectivity within other functional areas
- Build strong internal relationships and work directly with internal cross-functional teams to drive category, brand, channel and account specific initiatives
- Develop and execute omnichannel strategies and growth plans across Walmart Inc.
- Drive distribution, merchandising, pricing and promotional strategies to optimize sales performance and trade spend efficiency
- Lead account strategy development and implementation to identify and capture new and/or emerging opportunities
- Monitor account and customer performance via the Scintilla Charter platform
- Develop and execute Walmart Inc. promotional plans and activities
- Manage and enforce PSB MRP policy and pricing
- Negotiate and manage new programs, trade funds and terms
- Work with demand planning to develop accurate sales and shipment forecasts to achieve specified levels of forecast accuracy
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business or related
- Minimum 8 years of sales experience selling to Walmart
- Must live within a reasonable distance to Walmart HQ
- Must have a proven track record of success with Walmart
- Must be an expert in Retail Link and Scintilla Charter
- Must have Walmart Marketplace experience and track record of success
- Previous Category Management or Category Insights experience a plus
- Proficiency with MS Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Experience with and firm understanding of syndicated data (Nielsen/IRI)
- Ability to travel up to 20% overnight travel
