Job Duties

The Department of Medical Assistance Services (DMAS) is excited to offer a competitive opportunity to serve as the Nursing Facility Monitor/Analyst in the Integrated Care Division.

Job responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

The Nursing Facility (NF) Contract Monitor / Analyst serves as a subject-matter expert responsible for monitoring, analysis, and enforcement of Managed Care Organization (MCO) compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements related to NF Health Risk Assessments (HRAs) and NF portal entries.

This position independently conducts complex data analysis, performs member-level and system-level compliance reviews, prepares formal monitoring reports, facilitates quarterly compliance discussions with MCOs, and initiates corrective actions and compliance referrals as necessary.

The role directly supports Medicaid program integrity, quality oversight, and accountability for NF services provided to vulnerable populations.

The business needs for this position may be completed virtually.

The position you are applying for is an Hourly/Wage position. Hourly (wage) employees may not work more than an average of 29 hours a week and cannot exceed 1500 hours during their employment year. This position does not include health insurance, retirement or leave.

Minimum Qualifications

Competitive candidates will meet these minimum qualifications:

Knowledge/Experience of Medicaid managed care programs.

Knowledge/Experience of the position to include Nursing Facility and LTSS program requirements.

Knowledge/Experience of Health Risk Assessment standards.

Knowledge/Experience of Contract monitoring, corrective action, and compliance.

Knowledge/Experience of Microsoft Suites and Microsoft Teams.

Knowledge/Experience interpretation and application of federal, state laws/regulations.

Experience in meeting deadlines.

Experience with internal/external stakeholders.
