Job Description:

Blue Water Thinking is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead program delivery supporting an upcoming VA program. The Senior Project Manager will oversee program execution, coordinate across multiple stakeholders and development teams, and ensure successful delivery of operational and technical initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide overall leadership and management of program activities
  • Coordinate work across project teams, technical teams, and stakeholders
  • Oversee program scheduling, risk management, and reporting
  • Ensure program objectives and milestones are achieved
  • Provide strategic guidance to support program success
  • Serve as primary point of contact with government leadership

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or related field
  • 10+ years of professional experience managing programs or complex projects
  • Proven experience working in federal government contracting
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder engagement experience
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • PMP certification

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting VA or federal healthcare programs
  • Experience supporting PMO environments

Eligibility: 

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain the required federal public trust clearance for this role 

Compensation:

Salary for this position is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, location, the candidate’s particular combination of knowledge, skills, competencies and experience, as well as contract specific affordability and organizational requirements. The proposed salary range for this position is outlined below.

Salary range: $135,000 - $145,000
