Job Description

Role Description

We’re looking for a bold, data-driven leader to transform how millions of members engage with our Wellbeing platform. You will define strategies that activate, retain, and guide members while directly influencing health outcomes and cost savings. This is a rare opportunity to shape a consumer engagement engine at scale, bridging marketing, behavioral science, and clinical impact.

What You’ll Do

  • Engagement & Lifecycle Strategy
    • Define enterprise-wide consumer engagement strategy across activation, retention, re-engagement, and sustained participation.
    • Design member journeys aligned to health needs, preventive care, and behavior change opportunities.
    • Ensure engagement strategies reinforce clinical priorities and drive measurable outcomes.
  • Performance Marketing & Growth
    • Own KPIs including activation, enrollment, engagement, retention, and pathway completion.
    • Optimize campaigns through segmentation, targeting, and test-and-learn experimentation.
    • Identify and resolve friction points to improve funnel conversion and sustained participation.
  • Data-Driven Insights & ROI
    • Establish attribution models linking engagement behaviors to clinical and economic outcomes.
    • Translate engagement performance into actionable insights and executive-level reporting.
    • Continuously refine strategies based on member behavior, data trends, and platform capabilities.
  • Team Leadership & Collaboration
    • Build, scale, and lead a high-performing engagement and performance marketing organization (15+ team members).
    • Partner cross-functionally with Product, Clinical, Data, and Commercial teams to align strategy and execution.
    • Set clear performance expectations and accountability standards across the function.

What Success Looks Like

  • Increased activation, enrollment, and sustained engagement across member cohorts.
  • Clear, measurable linkage between engagement activities and improved health outcomes.
  • Demonstrated influence on medical trend, risk reduction, and care navigation behaviors.
  • A scalable, repeatable engagement engine that drives platform differentiation and measurable ROI.

Qualifications

  • Experience leading enterprise engagement, operations, or digital health programs in a complex, multi-stakeholder environment, with a client/membership base of 5,000+, and accountability for global or national-scale outcomes.
  • Proven ownership of activation, retention, and utilization KPIs in a data-driven environment.
  • Experience integrating engagement strategies with clinical or healthcare decision workflows.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare data ecosystems, including clinical, claims, and behavioral signals.
  • Demonstrated success building experimentation frameworks and optimization cultures.
  • Ability to translate complex engagement performance into executive-level insights.

Requirements

  • No candidate will meet every single qualification listed. If your experience looks different but you think you can bring value to this role, we'd love to learn more about you.

Benefits

  • Base compensation for this position ranges from $227,000 to $284,000. Note that compensation may vary based on location, skills, and experience.
  • This position is eligible for medical, dental, vision, and other benefits.
