Job Description

Corbalt is a small group of technologists working to build better software infrastructure for government. We were part of the tech team that came in to help support the healthcare.gov launch and were inspired by how much everyone cared and worked hard to fix the site (from tech team members, to government contractors, and government employees), and how much progress we all made in a short time.

 

As we’ve continued to work with the government we focus on opportunities where we can build simple, scalable solutions to help support important government missions like helping people get health insurance (healthcare.gov) and helping ensure healthcare for vulnerable populations (Medicaid).  We use innovative technology to create software infrastructure that's easy to use and develop applications that focus on addressing users' core needs.

 

We're a small team that works remotely by default and are spread across states.  We look to hire people who are passionate about improving public services, love working as a part of a team, enjoy consulting with clients to develop creative solutions to complex problems, and are committed to fostering a kind work environment.

Title: Director of Growth

Location: Baltimore / DC area

Salary: $150,000 - $205,000 / year

 

Overview: The VP of Growth owns Corbalt’s growth strategy and execution. This role builds and maintains strong client and partner relationships, leads business development, capture, and proposal efforts, and provides leadership on opportunities and programs.

 

Key Responsibilities:

- Serve as a visible, trusted local representative of Corbalt

- Responsible for driving sustainable, high-impact growth across the company

- Collaborate with delivery team to align growth strategy with execution capabilities

- Own all aspects of growth, including:

-- Relationship building with clients, primes, and partners

-- Business development strategy and pipeline 

-- Capture planning and proposals

-- Marketing and visibility

-- Lead or support efforts required to respond to requests (RFIs, RFPs)

- Increased visibility and trust with existing and potential clients and partners

- A focused pipeline aligned with our strengths

- High-quality proposals that reflect how we deliver
