Role Description
The Subrogation Manager oversees the daily operations, performance, and development of the Subrogation team supporting Solvd US clients. This role ensures that subrogation processes are executed with accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to industry standards and client expectations.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Subrogation Advisors, providing ongoing coaching, performance feedback, and professional development opportunities.
- Oversee daily workflow distribution to ensure timely and accurate handling of subrogation claims.
- Monitor team performance against established KPIs and implement action plans to achieve operational goals.
- Serve as an escalation point for complex claim files, coverage questions, estimate disputes, and inter-carrier negotiations.
- Ensure adherence to industry standards, client guidelines, and internal quality expectations across all subrogation activities.
- Conduct regular quality audits of repair estimate reviews, total loss assessments, and claim file documentation.
- Own regulatory compliance in processes and procedures to ensure claim reviews are handled appropriately.
- Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to support process improvements, product enhancements, and client initiatives.
- Analyze operational data to identify trends, training needs, and opportunities for efficiency.
- Support client relationship management by participating in client meetings, reporting discussions, and performance reviews as needed.
- Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement within a remote work environment.
- Ensure accurate and timely claim data entry and documentation across all systems.
- Assist with hiring, onboarding, and training new team members.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years of auto insurance or collision repair experience.
- Auto Physical Damage (APD) adjuster licensure required; additional state licenses preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
- I-CAR certification a plus.
- Demonstrated experience reviewing, writing, or auditing repair estimates.
- Direct experience managing subrogation operations is strongly preferred.
- Direct experience with arbitration is strongly preferred.
