Role Description

If you’re an experienced online educator with strong English proficiency and a recent experience of ESL teaching for 2 years, EDGE Tutor invites you to join our premium team—a community of elite tutors teaching adult learners focused on career growth, business English, and international communication.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of ESL or Business English teaching experience (online or offline)
• Strong spoken English proficiency (C2 level, EFSET)
• Bachelor’s degree in any field
• TEFL/TESOL certification (120 hrs+), must have for the switcher bonus
• Professional teaching setup that meets minimum tech standards

Requirements

• Experience in Business English instruction is highly valued
• Strong communicators with a clear, confident teaching style are encouraged to apply

Schedule

• Classes run during global business hours
• Peak times include:
  • 5 AM – 2 PM
  • 3 PM – 6 PM
  • 7 PM – 12 AM
• Tutors should be available for at least 25 hours/week (weekend availability preferred)

• RAM: 8GB minimum
• Internet: Wired 25 Mbps+ (main) + backup connection
• Webcam: External 1080p
• Headset: Noise-cancelling, USB
• Environment: Quiet, well-lit, clutter-free space
